My dad used to be a carer for mum and did everything for her, sadly we lost him earlier this year so I do the things dad used to do. This includes changing my mums urostomy bag, I got in touch with Lynne because I needed advice, I needed to know I was doing things right for mum. Lynne was happy to listen and help with any worries I had. It’s good to know there’s someone there to help if I’m not sure of something.
Its an important part of my role to offer support and help when needed, I am pleased that you have this reassurance now and feel that you can make contact. Thank you for taking the time to leave this review.
Lynne came out to my home very promptly and was very helpful
Could acknowledge & respond to emails a little quicker
Thank you very much for your review - I will always strive to provide and improve the care I give.
on time, compassionate , understanding and knowledgeable , offered long term support.
Thank you, these are all the things I would aim for when offering a consultation. Its lovely to hear that I achieved this for you.
I have many opportunities to judge the service of nurses. Perhaps a rather special one is, during my RAF service, flying members of Princess Mary's Royal Air Force Nursing Service with a patient in their care. This could range from a pilot who had been injured during an ejection from his aircraft to a soldier who had dived into an empty swimming pool - not a rare occurrence! Recently I have had two major operations within six months of each other.
This is a lot of nursing and Lynn compares very well with these compatriots. I think the intimacy of her work and how it has to be performed is not the easiest nursing task. Lynn does it well. She made me feel quite comfortable with the situation. Her examination was professionally done and I was pleased that she volunteered that I needed new support garments.
I wish her well.
Thank you so much for your feedback, it means a lot to me that the care I provided compares well along with your previous experiences. So pleased I was able to help and advise you.
